Clinical Evaluation

We assess developmental, behavioral, social, communication, and functional concerns within the context of your child's overall development.

Diagnostic Formulation

We integrate the available information to determine whether a developmental or behavioral diagnosis best explains your child's difficulties.

Parent Feedback

We take time to explain our findings, answer questions, and discuss what they mean for your child.

Ongoing Developmental Pediatric Care

Development Doesn't Stop After the Evaluation.

Some children need continued developmental pediatric care after their initial evaluation.

As children grow, their needs change. New challenges can emerge at school, at home, or socially. Treatments may need to be adjusted. Families may need help interpreting new concerns or coordinating recommendations.

PEAK provides ongoing care for children who benefit from continued developmental pediatric expertise.

Medication Management

Medication Is One Part of a Larger Developmental Plan.

For some children, medication can be an important part of treatment.

But medication decisions should never happen in isolation.

At PEAK, medication management is integrated into a broader understanding of your child's development, behavior, learning, and functioning.

Medication Management May Include

  • Evaluation of whether medication may be appropriate

  • Review of previous medication trials

  • Selection of an individualized treatment approach

  • Monitoring effectiveness

  • Monitoring side effects

  • Dose adjustments when appropriate

  • Review of progress at home and school

  • Discussion of non-medication interventions
